Welcome to www.360photo.org.

This site holds all my private panoramas and additionally some tutorials and photos I like. The site is owned and maintained by me, Serge Maandag.

I am a hobby photographer and panorama enthousiast. The knowledge I have of panorama techniques comes from the PanoToolsNG yahoo group, the panotools wiki and a lot of self study.

As you may have guessed from the previous sentence, I am an enthousiastic user of the panorama tools, a.k.a. the PanoTools. The panorama tools were developed by professor Helmut Dersch. Prof. Dersch developed, maintained and supported the tools until he got threatened by a big american firm which claimed to have some patents regarding the stitching of panoramas. Currently the tools are being developed by some gifted volunteers. They host the tools on a sourceforge site. A mirror of prof. Dersch' old site can be found here.
